An introduction to Blogging. I know that is not much of a show note, but it doers cover it nicely enough. Enjoy!
Our faith and our celebrations of that faith are steeped in beautiful tradition. We are not a Church blown around by the shifting winds of fad or popular culture. If we did, we would not be waiting for the Roman Missal in a beautifully bound book, but we would be downloading the app for the iPad and going to confession on Skype.
This is my first homily preaching the 3rd Edition of the Roman Missal. It is mercifully short, but is a good introduction to what Fr. Jose and I will be talking about for the next several weeks. - enjoy - leave feedback - don't feed the trolls - have a great day
As we deacons are mandated to receive the Gospel of Christ, believe what you read, teach what you believe, practice what you teach, there are many new avenues open to us to do just that. New Media is the way that people across the world are communicating and interacting with one another.
This begins a new series on the importance and some of the ins and outs of New Media evangelization and utilization.
A couple of corrections to the pod cast, I mentioned that Archbishop Sheen had 14 million listeners to his 1930's radio broadcast, the number is actually 4 million. I simply misspoke.
